Blake’s Lavender Festival
July 10th, 11th & 12th, 2020

With just a short drive from the hustle and bustle of city life, the Lavender Festival at Blake’s is a perfect mid-summer getaway. Not only is this event a celebration of all the wonders of Lavender, but also an event that knits together local, talented artisans of one-of-a-kind hand-made goods!

Please note that we only accept vendors with HANDMADE products.  No imported or manufactured items are allowed.

Festival highlights include:

  • Over 100 artisans with Made in Michigan products
  • Free classes, speakers and demonstrations
  • Lavender themed DIY make and take workshops
  • Free children’s activities for kids 12 and under
  • Pick your own lavender, fruits, and vegetables
  • Lavender infused food and drinks
  • Lavender field yoga and aroma meditation
  • and so much more!

Admission to the festival includes FREE educational classes, speakers, demonstrations and children’s activities!

The festival will be held at Blake’s Orchard and Cider Mill located at 17985 Armada Center Rd., Armada, MI 48005



Geared for kids 12 & under. Following a short, hands-on demo kids will take home a free sample of the craft of the day.


Relax and enjoy the sounds of many local talented musicians as the perform throughout the day.


Nourish your body and soul with a yoga class in our lavender field and lavender-scented guided meditation.


Stop into the demonstration and speaker area to learn more about natural wellness, aromatherapy, farming and gardening, cooking and more!


We have a fabulous selection of beautiful, hardy lavender plants perfect for growing in our Michigan climate as well as a host of other herbs, succulents and perennials to compliment you landscape.


Stop by to chat with master gardeners, horticulturists and educators from Michigan State University. Instructors will also share their expert knowledge with the following classes each day:

    • 11:00am: Composting 101
    • 1:00pm: Preserving the Harvest
    • 3:00pm The Secrets to Growing Beautiful Lavender


Offering gourmet food options with a lavender twist. Garden fresh salads, sandwiches, desserts, as well as our famous lavender lemonade and lavender ice cream.


From lavender cupcakes, cookies and fudge to lavender kettle corn and almonds you’ll be amazed at the delicious touch lavender can add to these sweet creations. Don’t forget our famous lavender ice cream that will also be available.


Take the train to our, over an acre, field of the lavender and pick your own bunch for a small charge. We are proud to offer u-pick red and black raspberries, tart cherries, and more!




Guests can stop in one of the many ongoing workshops listed below during the festival. Workshops are geared for children 12 years to adults. All DIY workshops are approximately 30-60 minutes and all materials and handouts are included in the workshop fee.
