No, Blake’s does not charge for parking to visit our property/store.  Customers will pay for all u-pick produce upon exiting the orchard. Our Funland area does require an admission fee if you choose to enter that area. 

Blake’s accepts all forms of payment including cash and all major debit/credit cards at all registers

Sorry, we do not allow pets at Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill or Blake’s Big Apple. 

Pets are permitted at both Blake’s Backyard and Blake’s Lyon Township.

Exceptions will only be made for registered service animals, which must be properly identified as such.

Additionally, there is limited shade in the parking lot for your pets to stay in your vehicle.

Keep in mind, Blake’s is a real working farm! Some of our walking areas are concrete/stone pathways, but most of our surfaces are dirt, which gets muddy after it rains. The safety of our guests is always at the forefront when we have recently had rainy weather, but it is wise to come dressed accordingly if the weather has been wet.

Sorry, we do not allow any outside food or beverages on our property due to health regulations.

We do have multiple spots on our property to eat including Blake’s Tasting Room, Blake’s Grill located inside the Cider Milll and many other food & beverage stands open seasonally includingOrchard Cafe, Snack Shack, Graze Farm Kitchen, and Blake’s Burger Tent. 

Gift cards can be purchased at any 3 of our locations as well as online (blakesstore.com). Gift cards can only be redeemed on property at any of our locations. Gift cards are not valid for any online sales. 

Blake Farms is a non-smoking property. If you would like to smoke, we ask that you do so in a designated area away from our guests or in the parking lot.

Blake’s donuts are made with wheat flour, sugar, eggs, soy and milk and fried in all-purpose shortening.

No, our donuts are not vegan, as they contain eggs and dairy products. 

No, our donuts do not contain any nuts however, there is a risk of cross contamination as we make other products with tree nuts and peanuts in the same facility.

Yes, we offer gluten free donuts at all 3 of our locations.

Several of our jarred items, hard cider, soft cider, caramel apples are gluten free.

Yes, bulk donut orders can be placed by calling any of our 4 locations. Please place orders 1 week prior to your event. 

We have several options available for caramel apples for your wedding or special event. For bulk orders please call our Cider Mill at 586-784-5343. All large orders should be placed a minimum of 1 week prior to your event.  

Blake’s jarred items can be purchased at any of our 4 locations. We have a selection of our jarred items available at many specialty grocery stores including Nino Salvaggio’s, Vince & Joes, Randazzo, Cantoro Market and many others  in the metro Detroit area as well as online at www.blakesstore.com

No, due to the need for refrigeration and to guarantee freshness we do not ship our apple cider or donuts. 

The Blake Family of Companies prohibits the use of recreational/commercial drones by any guest or member of the public, for any reason, on any of the Blake Family of Companies Property Resorts’ property, except in limited circumstances when an approved operator has obtained an FAA exemption and received written permission from the company. This includes use associated with special events, marketing, and film/photo applications.


Blake’s does not permit carrying firearms, ammunition, knives and weapons of any kind at any of our locations.


We do not book professional photography sessions due to being a fully operational farm with equipment and employees working at all times. For further inquiries regarding photography email us at info@blakefarms.com

We do not allow drones due to privacy and safety concerns for our employees and customers. 

Our lavender field is open during our annual lavender festival. We also have upick lavender available in July.

Our fruits and vegetables are not organic. We use the minimal amount of pesticides possible to ensure the highest quality fruits and vegetables. 

Yes, we ship apples during the fall and holiday season from September-December! Apples can be purchased on our online store (www.blakesstore.com)

We do not take reservations for the Tasting Room and seating is on a first come first serve basis. We have plenty of both outdoor and indoor seating areas to accommodate our guests.

Yes, our Tasting Room is family friendly and we have a delicious kids menu. 

Yes, we sell 1/6 and ½ barrel kegs which can be purchased from by calling our Tasting Room at 586-784-9463.

All haunted attractions are held at Blake’s Big Apple located at 71485 North Ave, Armada MI 48005.

Our haunted attractions normally open the third weekend of September and run through the last weekend in October. Haunted attractions are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from dusk till 12pm on Friday’s & Saturday’s and 11pm on Sunday’s. View page for up to date information.

End dates for haunted attractions vary yearly, view page for current dates.

It depends on the severity of the weather. We recommend calling the Big Apple prior to heading out to double check on cancelations.

VIP tickets allow you to skip the general admission line for the VIP line to decrease your wait time.

A private bonfire area can be booked for $8 per person in addition to the haunted combo package you choose.

The Zombie Paintball Safari is roughly 20 minutes long. 

Haunted Hayrides are typically 30 minutes. This includes a quick stop for a cup of cider and cider mill donut. 

Tickets for haunted attractions can be used any Friday, Saturday, or Sunday during the current haunted season.

Tickets for Blake’s haunted attractions can be purchase online or at the Big Apple. Ticket sales begin around 6pm onsite.  

You will need to wait in line for each specific attraction. Pre-purchasing tickets will save you from standing in the ticket booth line.

We offer reservations for haunted hayrides, which allows you to go to the reservation line (skipping the general admission line) as well as guarantee your group is together on the same hayride. For zombie paintball we offer an option to rent the entire truck for a private tour. To book any group reservations contact Blake’s Big Apple location at (586) 784-9710.

We have group rates available for renting a private zombie paintball safari truck.


Funland is a family friendly area, featuring our animal farm, train/wagon rides, John Deere Speedway, Barnyard 500 Tricycle track, play structures, corn maze, sports zone and more! View Page

Funland is located at both Blake’s Cider Mill & Blake’s Big Apple locations.

Yes, admission tickets are required for all guests entering the Funland area including adults. Children aged 2 and under enter free with a paying adult. Tickets can be purchased both onsite and online.

Yes, we allow wedding ceremonies to be held in the orchard or on the property at this time.

Lovey’s is a farmhouse boutique that offers lavender products, unique home décor, bath & body products, and a variety of seasonal products.  View Page

Lovey’s is open July through December on Saturday’s & Sunday’s from 10am-5pm.

No, Lovey’s has a variety of home décor, kitchen, bath, seasonal décor items as well as lavender products.

Lovey’s is not a consignment shop, but we do work with local vendors to promote artisans in the area and sell their products.


Yes, our hard ciders are 100% vegan, as we do not use any animal bi-products for filtration.

Tours of the production facility are offered seasonally, stay tuned on our Facebook @blakeshardcider and website for future offerings. 

Blake’s Hard Cider is good for 1 year after it is produced, with the exception for Fido, which is good for 9 months.
