Blake’s is proud to now serve South Lyon. The first tree was planted here in 1920 by James N. Erwin and the Blake Family is excited to continue the apple growing tradition started here and to provide the community with delicious cider, donuts and much more.

Is Blake’s keeping any of the attractions and things to do Erwin’s offered?

Yes! All the favorites will continue including the petting zoo, tractor rides, U-Pick orchard, corn maze, straw mountain, tricycle track, and Mr. Bee’s 3D barn. We know the U-pick experience is a longstanding tradition, so be sure to check the harvest calendar to plan your visit.

What new things is Blake’s planning this year?

We have several new additions this season to enhance our guests’ experience. We will have a daily farmstand with farm fresh seasonal produce and, in the cider mill, we’re expanding those offerings with specialty items we make in Armada such as a wide variety of baked goods and our homestyle jams. We’ll also have live music on Friday and Saturday evenings, food trucks on Saturday and Sundays and beginning Labor Day weekend, temporary outposts serving Blake’s Hard Cider and wine.

Will the donuts and cider be the same as Erwin’s?

We take cider and donuts pretty seriously and are combining the best of both Blake’s and Erwin’s. We have created a special Caramel Apple Crisp donut as well as classic cider donuts, adapted from our signature recipe.

Those donuts pair perfectly with sweet cider, still freshly pressed onsite with the apples harvested from the orchard, but will now be heat pasteurized, a process we have used for many years that results in a safer juice to enjoy.

Will any of the former staff be hired back?

We are pleased to have many of the former seasonal employees back this year, so there will definitely be a lot of familiar faces for returning guests.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are allowed outside on a 6-foot leash.

Do I have to pay for my children to play?

Blake’s is proud to introduce a NEW FUNLAND area offering endless family fun!

Guests can enjoy the corn maze, straw mountain, tricycle track, Mr. Bee’s 3D barn, animal petting farm, jumping pillows, giant inflatables, barnyard 500 tricycle track, amish play structures and more!

Children 2 and under are free with a paying adult.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Blake’s accepts all forms of payment including cash and all major debit/credit cards.

Can I bring my own food?

Sorry, we do not allow any outside food or beverages on our property due to health regulations.

Do you offer gluten free donuts?

Yes, we offer gluten free donuts at all of our locations.

Do you take large donut and cider orders? How far in advance to orders need to be placed?

Yes, bulk donut orders can be placed by calling any of our locations. Please place orders 1 week prior to your event.

Do you have gift cards available?

Gift cards can be purchased at any of our locations as well as online (blakesstore.com). Gift cards can be used at any Blake’s location.

Is Blake's Hard Cider available at the Lyon Township location?

Yes, Blake’s Hard Cider and wine is available at our Blake’s Lyon Township location. Pints are available to purchase and consume onsite. 6-packs and wine are available for purchase to take home
